Habitual Dislocation of the Shoulder

چکیده
Habitual dislocation of the shoulder joint was known to Hippocrates and to Paul of Aegina. The ifiustration of Broca and Hartmann, taken from Bulletins of the Anatomical Society of Paris of 1890, illustrates how comprehensive was the knowledge of gleno-labrial detachments and deformation of the humeral head more than sixty years ago (Fig. 1). Little has since been added to this knowledge, though it has been reviewed in masterly style by Tavernier (1929) and more recently by Eyre-Brook (1942). Bankart (1923) re-emphasised the importance of the labrial detachment and advocated for the first time an operation for its reattachment to the bone margin of the glenoid. This operation became the standard

متن کاملSurgical Treatment of Habitual Patella Dislocation with Genu Valgum
Habitual dislocation of patella is a rare disorder. Sometimes it is associated with angular deformity such as genu valgum. We experienced habitual patella dislocation associated with genu valgum that was treated with corrective osteotomy of distal femur and soft tissue realignment procedure including lateral release and medial reefing.

This is a report on simultaneous dislocation of the left shoulder and elbow resulting in a 16 years old boy. Bipolar dislocation of Luxatio Erecta and posterior dislocation of the elbow is extremely rare. متن کاملTramadol abuse and shoulder dislocation
This study aimed to evaluate the shoulder dislocation following tramadol-induced seizure and its potential difference with other shoulder dislocations. We evaluated six cases that used tramadol tablets and some of them had a history of seizure. All of the cases had shoulder dislocation. According to the findings, tramadol use and tramadol-induced seizure may increase the risk of shoulder disloc...
